It seems to me that the whole country should be in a self imposed quarantine by now and yet people are creating contests that require someone to go outside the house. There are over 1,000,000 people with the virus world wide now and growing. Surely there must be a theme for shooting inside the house.
Everyone please stay safe and stay home if you can.
God Bless

It's fine to go outside the house as long as you stay away from other people. You can't get the virus from a tree and you can't give the virus to a tulip. Just steer clear of humans.

I walk across the street to my neighbors house to photograph her flowers. She sits on the patio and talks to me as I wander her yard. We both get some fresh air and some nice chats and I get to take pictures. There's plenty of physical distance and some cabin fever relief.

How about some pictures inside the house....Living room, Kitchen, Bedroom, Garage and even the Bathroom. There are interesting angles and lighting inside the house. I have breathing troubles already along with heart trouble, diabetes, gawd the list go'es on. I'm afraid to go outside for fear of someone coming over to me to say hello so I have to stay inside. Appreciate all of your posts and pics though.
Thank you and God Bless

I don't know where you are, but where I am, nobody is just coming up close to another person. They are going out of their way to keep distance from others. If someone did try to come close to me, I would quickly tell them to keep their distance. I feel it's a big help to my mental health to be able to get outside and go for a walk every day (with my camera of course).

Something I've been doing for more years than I can remember. Nice to know that old habit has a new application. . .

Just a thought....you could start a Challenge Thread and make it "inside" shots...might be fun to see what everyone comes up with.

I live in a gated waterfront community. You would think people would have half a brain. Not a chance. The guy across the street has 8 cars in his driveway and they are partying like crazy. On the community facebook page their was a mother today asking for a n95 mask so her child could go to a birthday party. She was worried about keeping him safe. Please. I just don't understand people and their ignorance or selfishness. All my life which has been a minute I never could believe people were as stupid as they are. Now they broke the camels back. There are so many selfish and stupid people we need a virus to clean up the gene pool. Unfortunately this one looks like it may take most of its victims from the best part of the gene pool left. Sorry to be so negative. We are enjoying our vacation just fine. I may just really retire before this is over. 😂

Oneputt1111, are you talking about the "challenge" section of UHH? As CindyHouk suggests, you could start your own thread, though perhaps in Photo Gallery where more would see:
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/s-5-1.html

Title it something like, "Take a photo inside your home and post it here."

There have actually been quite a few topics similar to what you are suggesting. Not necessarily open for others to post, but many ideas and creativity involved. To be sure you're seeing all these inspiring topics, click on "all sections" at the bottom of the page, scroll through and click "subscribe" to any forums that look interesting to you, then be sure to use the "newest topics" link at top of page to see the daily additions.

"Newest topics" will show all your subscribed areas in a single column, with newest first. If you are currently using the emailed digest, you are only getting a sampling of all that is available.

One quick way to browse is to click on "newest pictures." (link at top of any page) Be sure you're logged in so your subscribed specialty sections will show up.
