I certainly do that myself. The person I replied to seemed to be saying the press was against people going out and maintaining distance.

I have been surprised that there’s not more information and caution being discussed on ugly hedgehog.? How can anything be more serious? And yet people continue to ask ridiculous questions.

John, it would seem the press is...well the press. They are selling advert space and the way to do that is to have your reports read. Death sells. What is interesting is to compare the stats of Covid-19 with other diseases and other mortality rates. By comparison, Covid-19 is a piker. The other aspect that the press seems to overlook is the number of people who have recovered. These stats aren't difficult to find, The press just feels the number of deaths is a hotter commodity to sell.

Inside looking out. I know these are lower quality than normal as they were shot through the less than clean window. I could not open the window without sending them flying. Right now I have 5 species of Oriole visiting my backyard. These two male Hooded Oriole's are doing what males always do, measuring up. The sizing dance lasted for awhile allowing for hundreds of clicks.

Just what is wrong with going out of "the house"? If I want to take my camera out to photograph some landscape, how is that a problem? I think society needs to shift a bit out of panic mode. However, the press isn't helping in that at all.

Neither is the federal government.....

I go out every day to fill the feeders by our house, then watch the activity around them. There is no problem of going outside, but exact rules for this time depend on the sovereignty which made them. From my viewpoint, our Governor has been very reasonable on the rules he has set for this natural disaster.

It seems to me that the whole country should be in a self imposed quarantine by now and yet people are creating contests that require someone to go outside the house. There are over 1,000,000 people with the virus world wide now and growing. Surely there must be a theme for shooting inside the house.
Everyone please stay safe and stay home if you can.
God Bless

Nothing wrong with getting some fresh air but stay away from people. Living on a ranch in the middle of nowhere has its advantages; love it!

Check online photography sites, Nikon is offering all it's online photography classes for free this month, I'm quite certain other sites are as well, it seems to me that this would be an ideal opportunity to increase our knowledge base and learn new skills. Just my 2 cents.

Appreciate your input about the virus, but what does this have to do with indoor photography?

I'm not sure where you live, but these two look like a couple of the clients who use my feeders, although the Red-Bellied Woodpecker has to stand on the squirrel-proof bird-feeder in an awkward way to use it, and the Blue Jay just eats out of the squirrel-feeder.

To whom is this comment addressed {please use "Quote Reply"}? This thread is not necessarily about indoor photography since some sovereignties allow us to photograph outdoors as long as we maintain "social distance" from other people.
