I don't know where you are, but where I am, nobody is just coming up close to another person. They are going out of their way to keep distance from others. If someone did try to come close to me, I would quickly tell them to keep their distance. I feel it's a big help to my mental health to be able to get outside and go for a walk every day (with my camera of course).

Coincidentally with the Florida shelter in place order, we had to make a trip south just across the AL/FL border to do some maintenance on a residence. With the beaches closed, we ventured about a half hour away at dusk, to Ft Walton Beach-during normally the beginning of the tourist season. The area was a ghost town. Though not allowed on the sand itself, we were surprised to find the boardwalk in certain areas was open-not a soul in sight....Unfortunately not thinking we would even be able to get into the beach side parking lots, I did not take my camera. Never have I ever seen the Gulf of Mexico as beautifully serene; the area without the noise of people, restaurants, traffic...the sound heard with only a light breeze blowing was just lap, lap......lap......lap.....of wave after wave at low tide. Mother Nature has a way of cleaning up the masses when her children do not listen to her warnings.

How about some pictures inside the house....Living room, Kitchen, Bedroom, Garage and even the Bathroom. There are interesting angles and lighting inside the house. I have breathing troubles already along with heart trouble, diabetes, gawd the list go'es on. I'm afraid to go outside for fear of someone coming over to me to say hello so I have to stay inside. Appreciate all of your posts and pics though.
Thank you and God Bless

I'm quarantined inside my bedroom pending results of covid19 test results. This is day 5.

It seems to me that the whole country should be in a self imposed quarantine by now and yet people are creating contests that require someone to go outside the house. There are over 1,000,000 people with the virus world wide now and growing. Surely there must be a theme for shooting inside the house.
Everyone please stay safe and stay home if you can.
God Bless

So far it seems most states are keeping their state parks open. They encourage people to get out, but keep their distance from others. Try it, it my ease your worrying.

It's fine to go outside the house as long as you stay away from other people. You can't get the virus from a tree and you can't give the virus to a tulip. Just steer clear of humans.

I live in a county in Florida that looked at the beach with some common sense. The beaches are NOT closed - to walking, swimming, running, or fishing. I should add that they ARE closed to those who do not live in Brevard County. Thank goodness - going for a walk on the beach with my wife is not going to expose us to the virus. Especially since there is usually a nice onshore breeze. They outlawed gathering, sitting, or lying on blankets, etc. It seems they should have just restricted that to small family groups only - if a family sits together on the beach they are not going to infect each other any more than being at home. But I guess that would be harder to enforce.

Unfortunately the decision was made to close the Viera Wetlands. To me that was unnecessary and ridiculous. People either drive slowly around it or walk in small groups. People need a place to go to get out of the house and go for a walk!

Sorry to hear about your condition, I pray for a speedy recovery if you have it. I have been under the weather since January, been pretty much confined to home except for hospital and doctors visits. I'm in the older age group which don't help. If that is your guitar like what I see. Keep the faith and stay well in these trying times. Bob

Thanks Bob! Yes that's my guitar. Compared to some I'm also in the older age group at 66. I have COPD which flared up uncontrollably after having the flu a month ago. That's why my Dr. had me tested.

This has been my preferred MO for years and years before anything mandated. A project that’s been on my todo list for years.... house contents pictures and videos for insurance purposes. Stay safe everyone.

Get outside, specially in Nature, it's good for you. Not going to get the virus there! Avoid contact with people who don't live with you, even family otherwise is the way to get the virus.

I wish that I could go outside, but I am quarantined due to the pollen. For the next week, the pollen count is rated "high", so I have to limit my trips. It's aggravating to have to clean it off my equipment, including my eyes. I wear a mask, but they are in short supply these days. So I just stay outside for a couple of mins and then cough and gag my way back inside. I shoot some through the windows using my 200-500mm lens, but I still cannot always get the needed perspective.

Exactly, and no BBQ'd bats for lunch while camping or hiking.

Yup, just stay away from people and direct UV light should destroy virus anyway.
