My wife & I live about 4 blocks from our Kroger.
She is in her 70's and I'm in my 80's.
We are having the store bring our Internet order to our R/V when we pick it up.
When we get them home we plan to wipe all cans, boxes & etc. with alcohol before we take off our rubber gloves. I have C.O.P.D. so I don't feel that any of us should take any chances.

I have a grocery store about 15 miles from me that has curbside delivery. Just order online and pick a time and date for pickup. Only problem is finding a date and time. If the store is out of an item they may substitute it with something similar. No fee and no tip. The people who work for these essential services are to be saluted also.

Walmarts around here have had that service for a year or more now. I'm not sure if it is grocery only.

Went shopping at Walmart early yesterday morning, first customer in the store when they opened. No meat except for chicken, no ice cream, many shelves still empty. With the combination of food stuff I purchased, we should have some really interesting meals.

We noticed well before thevirus tha tif we find something we like and start buying it every time we go, it gets removed from stock. We used to take a shopping list but now we take a suggestion list and hope to be able to make meals from what we got. This set us up for now, we are now used to not getting what we want.

I used WM once but it's a 60 mile round trip.

My choices are 5 or 25 minutes. The furthest one is pretty close to Bombay Hook NWR which I visit pretty often.

Haven't seen any brand of TP in 3 weeks. Planning to go to some dollar stores tomorrow. Trying to cut back on quantities. The peak of the infection is expected in ATL a month from now. Never know when they will begin enforcing mandatory stay at home. So, I get some fresh veggies and resupply what I can purchase, if I find it.

In some foreign countries, they give 2 sheets of TP when you enter a public restroom. Think about that the next time you use some!

I have two brand new add-on bidet seats waiting to for me to install in our bathrooms.

My is willing to try them but my grown daughter wants nothing to do with one. I am going to install one in our bathroom and invite her to try it. She has used them in Europe.

I have never had a squirt/wash cleaning but it seems like a good idea.

Like the guys in Tennessee that have 17,000 bottles of hand sanitizer? 😂

Hey Jerry, you're a pretty handy fellow, why not make your own pasta, really nothing is easier.
Single serving
3/4 cup flour to one egg, mix together and keep kneading til you have a dough ball with a bit of a sheen to it and it comes back when you push your finger in (well mostly back). Then wrap in saran in the fridge for half an hour then back out and roll it out fold it over roll it out again, do that four or five times then just roll out as thin as you want and you can hand cut with a knife into fettuccine, linguine, spaghetti, or however you want to cut it. when you boil it three minutes should do the trick and ....

You won't want the store bought stuff ever again!!

doesn't need oil or salt, this is the simplest recipe and super tasting
Hey Jerry, you're a pretty handy fellow, why not m... (show quote)

You can't get eggs in some places in California. The cashier told me that only a small portion of the eggs they used to get were being delivered (I don't eat eggs so that is ok with me) so you might post an egg-free recipe.
