It looks like that because of the angle...her bottom is the clients arm. lol

Much better! A trip to the beach was her greatest wish for her 5th birthday so we really needed to record the occasion. I can't get PSE9 to do these edits cleanly enough!

Photogirl, personal opinion, I like the shadow. It leads the eye right on in to the scene. A dark foreground does this and adds a dimension.

Just crop off about an inch from the right side of the picture; just to the left of the plastic bag handle, and you automatically have the cat more off-center.
