I will return. Just woke up. Have to figure out how to get our church services which are all online. So thankful for technology which mostly works. I can't imagine getting through this without it. We cannot see our son who lives in a group home - 3 men plus staff are sheltering in place. This afternoon a staff member will face time with us so we can see each other. Eventually the houses will be using ZOOM so we can talk w each other.
A few more signs of spring
I have finally refound the setting on my camera to create light flares. On my Nikon D3300 I went to the editing menu and chose "filter effects". From the choices at filter effects I chose the "cross screen" setting. I was able to chose the number of points I wanted to use, 4, 6. 8... Then I pressed "confirm" and "save".
this morning's sky with eight pointed flares
My neighbours porch light
Putting a four point flare on my neighbour's porch light

Thanks, Jim! It's the first time we've been there! Amazing that you don't realize how many beauties are right
