Who really gives a rat’s ass what brand of camera that others use? If you are a good photographer you should be able to produce good photos with any brand!
Seems us old farts just like to argue to be noticed.

Who can have a positive attitude with inferior equipment?
The question is are you referring to your own inferior equipment or the Sony kit?
Nothing personal CHG_CANON just having fun.
They are the new kid in the bigs leagues, challenging the old established giants. We've known Canon and Niken for decades. Sony has yet to establish their cred among a lot of us. We don't want to risk something new and toss away a bunch of our lenses and experience. Saying that I've read a lot of good things about Sony and seriously considered buying my first mirrorless from them.

No, I don't know who you are talking about. I want to know specifically who you are talking about before I post further. How dare you post a personal attack on folks here. You know nothing about me or what my photographic preferences are, and I feel you are literally throwing gasoline on the fire posting something like this. Shame on you, SHAME.
I am not a Sony hater. I own two Nikon cameras. A DSLR and a Bridge camera. The third camera I own is a Sony Cypershot 20 megapixels pocket camera. I have a friend who owns a Sony a6000 crop sensor camera. I doubt I will replace my Nikon DSLR to go mirrorless, Sony or otherwise. I would upgrade to another Nikon. But, when it comes to Bridge and pocket cameras. I would choose Sony over Nikon. The Sony RX10iv and the RX100 series are excellent cameras. And, hard to beat.
Hate, it has been why MAGA is still sitting on people’s heads as a result of incomplete development of their pre frontal cortex
Yes, there is that way of thinking.
I wonder what the American public would have thought if they knew that Playtex was making spacesuits for NASA in the early years. Making one type of product doesn't preclude a company from making another. Cameras are all about technology and electronics, a field in which Sony is a leader. The critical acclaim their cameras have received proves their competence.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Without this post I don't think anyone would have noticed.
Be well.
Be happy.
Don't let the virus get you stressed out.

I've owned numerous Sony's. Bottom line is, I fell hook line and sinker for their marketing hype. If the cameras were half as good as the marketing says, they might almost be a decent camera.
