Why are some Hogg’s Sony Haters?

I own several Sony cameras and wonder why some Hoggers hate the brand? Y’all know who I’m talking about. I remember one poster said “I’d Never buy a camera from a company who used to make toasters!” It’s just something I don’t understand!

I'm indifferent to the physical device and the company. If people find that it is the best fit for them, then that is all that matters.

Some Sony fans tend to over do it.
When there isn't enough discussion about Sony, threads like this pop up.
I doubt anyone will gain anything photographically even if it goes on for 99 pages.
But as long as folks are enjoying themselves it certainly won't hurt anyone.

I’m a great fan of the brand. We have a Sony AM/FM/CD player, and our main TV is a Sony. If our Hamilton Beach toaster ever burns out, I’ll try to replace it with a Sony.
