I only use ON1 Photo Raw. Don't like the library of Lightroom and don't like trying to keep up with other software. ON1 does everythng I need.

I am exploring Photoscape x pro. It's not the be-all, end-all Ps&LR programs but it's only $40. The dedicated Ps-LR folks probably won't like it but for the average shooter, I have found it quite adequate. It has a very easy learning curve and does a good job. Not saying it's perfect but it's worth a look.

I purchased Serif Affinity.photo and have started using it the majority of the time. It is much faster to use, plus it combines a lot of features of LR and PS into one program. Here in the U.S. it costs $49.95 for a one-shot download that includes free updates. I still maintain my LR/PS subscription for now, anyway.

As a dedicated LR/PS guy:

LR is a pretty basic editor. There are better ones out there for specific tasks, but since LR includes organization, I depend on LR. LR has the capability of interfacing with many other editors, so if you find that PhotoscapeXPro does something well, you can use it too. Usually if LR can't do something I go to PS. But I could easily define another useful program that I could go to without compromising the ability to do anything I'm doing now.

So for all you guys interested in upping your game, take a look. I haven't tried it myself, but it's always good to be in danger of learning something.

Lightroom, Photoshop, On1, and Topaz DeNoise AI. All of my images will eventually end up in LR, regardless of my using the other programs. All of my removal of unwanted parts of an image is done in PS content aware. I replace skies with On1.

My primary software is Lightroom. Then I might use ON1, Topaz, Nik, and PS for the most part. All images are processed first in LR, then I do various things in the other software programs and return the image to LR.

I use Luminar 3 and do a fair amount of post processing to get the images where I want them. To me post processing is half the fun.

I recently switched my processing to DXO Photo Lab3 with NIK Collection. Prior to that I had been using the free Nikon software, View NX-i and NX-D for my RAW files, and the older (not free) Nikon Capture NX2. I had the Adobe Creative Cloud products available to me but rarely ever used them. I will be canceling my Adobe subscription soon.

I still use NX-i as a browser to cull images as it is very fast (images load quickly) and to delete an image you just have to hit the delete key, which makes culling fast.

I try and get the image right in camera so post processing is kept to minimum. I hate spending much time doing post processing. DXO PL has presets built into it so often all I have to do is select one and I am done.

I use Capture One, Photoshop, Luminar, Topaz, Photos, Faststone, and several others. Each program has features I prefer. Of course I use them as needed and never all on one image.

Capture One is my main editor and Topaz for noise reduction.

Much of my camera work is history documentation. As such, I usually only do a small amount of processing on them. For that i use an old program that came with my 1st camera, Zoombrowser EX. If leveling is needed, I go to Picasa. For more "artistic" shots I start with that but go to an old version of Photoshop, as required. For flattering of more senior women, I occasionally use Portrait Pro.
