Use one editing program or various?
Does everyone use Luminar4, Lightroom, Topaz, or On1? .. do you use one specific program or certain ones for certain tasks?
Just On1 do as little as possible post processing try to get it right in camera and am not a fan of cut and paste pictures
I use LR for 100% of my images. In the old days, Topaz has a series of special effects modules. When an image will benefit for a B&W conversion or an HDR effect, the legacy Topaz B&W and Adjust modules work very well. I use the older Topaz DeNoise6 on nearly all images, typically most everything above ISO-100.
I tend to complete all editing for an image in Capture One. But there are occasional exceptions where I have to use another tool.

Photoshop is my go to editing program. I use NIK, Topaz and Luminar as plugins with PS. Lightroom is my data base program only, I do no editing there. I have a couple of stand alone editing programs who's names I have forgotten because after spending money for them I never use.
I’m a Lightroom user myself. Haven’t tried Luminar

My primary software is Lightroom. Then I might use ON1, Topaz, Nik, and PS for the most part. All images are processed first in LR, then I do various things in the other software programs and return the image to LR.

I use Lightroom. occasionally I will use PS Elements 14, or Luminar, or The NIK collection for certain tasks. most of the time I get the results I want from Lightroom 6.14.
Answer to the first question, no.
Answer to the second question, I have three I use, one (OEM RAW editor) 98+% of the time.
It depends on what I'm doing.
Learning how Lightroom works and handles organized files on the computer it has become my favorite tool. Of course I have photoshop working with Lightroom for when needed. Been awhile since I opened Elements and much prefer Lightroom.
My favorite post processing software is Creative Kit (A predecessor to Luminar) It is a suite of specialist apps Along with Photos, it does everything that I need done and does it clearly and consisely. It was available for Mac only and the software company was called MacPhun (name since changed to Skylum) It might still be available as separate apps on the apple apps store. I have found Intensify and Snapheal to be the most useful of the apps in the suite I have the apps installed as plug ins within the Photos app.
I use multiple freeware editing programs. Sometimes in combination, sometimes just one - depending on what I need to accomplish. Each program has its strengths and weaknesses, and its own set of unique features.

100% of my images go into Lightroom. There they get basic editing. If they need more than LR can provide they go on to Photoshop. When they are finished in Photoshop they return to Lightroom. Even if I don't do anything in the way of editing, the images go into Lightroom because that's my organizing tool.
When I started learning postprocessing I tried a number of programs. Lightroom/Photoshop seemed to fit my style best, so that's all I use now.

Lightroom for cataloging and basic edits, Photoshop for careful and detailed editing, On1 if I am in a hurry and want fast results, DXO Photolab for excellent noise reduction and sharpening, though I have to admit that with On1 I use Nik less and less, and Capture One for all of my Sony images. Helicon focus for stacking, PT/GUI for difficult panos, Photomatix Pro for HDR. But Lightroom is the core organizational tool that I use for image management, and launching the other apps that I use.
