Dear Customers,

We regret to inform you that as of December 20, 2019 Cameta Camera has ceased all retail and on-line sales.
The present owner is looking to retire, and a potential new owner is looking to take over and continue the business. However, due to formalities involved in such a change, this may not occur until Spring 2020. In addition, it is likely it will be a different sales team, but we cannot say for sure at this time
We would like to express our gratitude towards our customers for their support during our 36 years of operation. This has been a labor of love for not only the owner, but for the staff as well. Cameta Camera would not have been successful if not for your loyalty.

We appreciate your understanding and wish you all the best!

Kindest Regards,
Cameta Camera

I bought my retirement gift from Cameta, a Sony A7711. I could not believe the package they put together. Shipping was exceptional. The also helped guide me with the insurance. Good luck with your Florida retirement. Hope the new owners retain your excellent reputation!

There appears to be a small mixup here. I posted a letter that I received from Cameta Camera; I titled the thread Re: Cameta Camera. I did not call it "My Store"; I am not the owner of Cameta Camera; I am, as many of you are, a happy customer. As the accolades started to be posted, I sent Cameta Camera the link to this thread. I can only hope that the owner drops by our little part of the world.

I've dealt with Cameta Camera for years. My go to guy was always Enzo. He was very honest, helpful and his knowledge was always appreciated. He helped me when I wanted to get into sports photography and (not inexpensive) he gave me some great advice on a camera body and lens. Still using it today with great results. Great luck on retirement and I will miss you guys. Hope if reopening you keep the same knowledgeable staff...

Bought a couple of very nice camera bags at low prices online. Have had them for several years. Great merchandise at a great price and great customer service. Best of luck.

I was ready to wish you the best in your retirement but I now see that you are one of us and not the owner. I wish the new owner good luck and hopefully, if the name is retained I sincerely hope he will keep the old team and the reputation the store has gained in the many years they have been in service.

I have dealt with them once and it was a superb transaction.
