Check out the reflection of the door to the deck or outside in the eyes.

She's adorable and the photo is great!
I've seen these dolls at FAO Schwarz.
Real expensive because of the workmanship.
It's a great snapshot: your timing is perfect for the expression and I like the tight crop. The shallow depth of field at 5.6 with the longish 110mm lens helps isolate that beautiful face. The real artistry is in the subject.
Try experimenting with off camera flash if you have the equipment. Umbrellas are pretty inexpensive.

I can't speak! Words won't describe how good I think that is.
Focused in the right place, sharp as a tack, magic skin tones and a delightfully beautiful little girl taken by a very proud Mom or Grand Mom I'd say. Only thing I'd do is get rid of the arm in the background - blurr it. Minor point hope you don't mind me saying it because I thik it's great.

What a beautiful child! You captured her eyes - great. I would like to see a composition that did not crop the top of her head.

Thanks for all the nice comments. This was a quick shot as I was leaving, room was full of people. Just luck it looks this sharp but, with a subject as beautiful as Emmila, it can't be anything but beautiful.

A real cutie and a great sharp shot.
I'd darken the little bit of stuff in the right nostril.
I can never get my grandkids faces that clean!
