The differences are - 1. Covid19 attacks the lungs. 2. It is far more contagious/infectious.
Stay safe.

Great I needed a good laugh amid all this crazy stuff. Oh and nice photo as well.

I never said that, but the hysteria is ridiculous in comparison to MANY other known maladies and nowhere as deadly. It's just new and the media is going NUTS over it!
I am having this same discussion with my wife - in retirement she watches TV and is steeped in this freak out. (well she is a "super precaution' believer being a retired RN)
She thinks I don't care at all because I put down the freak out party on TV.
I am reading, doing photos and on UHH and Quora. Hmm, a dove just came up to the glass patio door, I guess it is time to fill the feeders.

Duh, you mean the flu wasn't causing my sinus, breathing and lung troubles - could have fooled me and my doctor.
And there are several common things that transmit far easier.

Wow - looks like 24/365 isolation
All stores regardless of what they sell, have no disinfectants, TP, tissues, aloe Vera, rubbing alcohol etc. 2 people at a Costco got into a fist fight over TP. 2 women tried to take some items from my sister cart, one tried to distract her and the other one tried the stealing. This is beyond ridiculous, unfortunately if this continues to get worse, my family and I are very well equipped to defend ourselves.
I suggest everyone keep their tanks full, just in case some other crap happens.
Take care everyone.

So tell this to the world's old'uns who have had their final years terminated because they didn't have the natural resistance to disease they used to have.
I’m in my 70’s and have health issues that make me a prime candidate. I take and suggest people to take precautions, but this panic is absolutely ridiculous. Throughout the years we faced and survived many diseases, SARS alone cost people around the world somewhere around 58,000 deaths. Unfortunately, this is not the first, nor will it be the last virus to affect the world.
For two ply tp, Angel Soft is pretty good. I prefer the three ply Quilted Northern Ultra Plush....in Mega Rolls.
Sanitizers may slow down the reproduction rate of bacteria, but won’t even kill them. They won’t harm viruses. The Covid-19 CoronaVIRUS IS a VIRUS. Sanitizers have no effect on it. Save your money for pain pills.
Was in 4 supermarkets and two drug stores and no TP in any. Chicken fridge empty. Crazy in NJ

This brings up the question, why is today’s liberated, equal pay, open my own door, equality marching, don’t need men, politically correct female unable to lift a simple little toilet seat??
