We once had a little tiny house cat, she never got over 5lbs her entire life, Ginnie loved to race into a room and jump onto things...a couple of these 'jumps' right into the open toilet convinced use to keep the lid closed on both toilets (she got stuck head first in one episode, under water, only a lucky wet cat plucking saved her). That was 30 years ago, we still keep the lid down, and who wants to see the "working/repository" side of the toilet anyway!!! My kids and grands always leave it up when here... and I dutifully close it every time, or my wife does.....

Went to the local supermarket yesterday. The store was packed and everyone had TP in their carts. The store had to put a 2-pack limit on purchases. Some say this is ridiculous, but look at it this way. Even if you never have to self-isolate, TP won't go to waste. It will get used eventually.

CDC estimates 22,000 influenza deaths, in the U.S., so far this season. But the media is blasting away with this COVID-19 fearmongering crap with no mention of the "regular" flu season deaths.

I never said that, but the hysteria is ridiculous in comparison to MANY other known maladies and nowhere as deadly. It's just new and the media is going NUTS over it!
