Thanks, sorry I'm not French. Plus I am retired and can speel as I like.
"Speel"? I guess you can also write as you like, but is there something wrong with speaking and writing properly? What does being retired have to do with it?
"Voila" is a French word, pronounced like a "vw" sound followed by the "alla" sound. Too many people here and elsewhere spell it "walla", ignoring the proper pronounciation and "v" sound at the beginning.
What model computer is it that got messed up by the Windows update? I have updated many Dell models with no update problems. I have read and heard of many HP owners who have had update problems.
And to the poster who suggested that Linux will solve all your problems.....keep dreaming. It is NOT that simple.
These types of problems are what send me in a tizzy to bang my head on the wall. Windows 10 is supposed to be so wonderful, but every day I hear about something like this. I'm reasonably computer literate, but have no idea what needed to be done. I'm not changing to Windows 10 until I don't need any programs any more. The more I learn, the less I like it.
It took me a day to find the solution. I don't give up easily. A log of Google searching, reading and trying different things. I learned a lot about "diskpart". Another program that I bought and recommend is Aomi Diskpartion. I use their backup program as well.

I cloned mine about a week ago after having to install Windows twice.
What software is used to clone your windows C: drive?
I use a program called EZ Gig by Apricon. This only works with laptop hard drives but works great. Apricon used to make a hard drive adapter that works on all types of drives. You can still find one but the cost is over 10 times what I paid for one.

The word is "voila" which is French. The spelling "voila" is pronounced (as you indicated) is still voila.
The pronunciation is vwa la. Whether in English or French. Definition: "There you are".
One of my pet peeves.
My local TV presenter pronounced it: VEE oh la.
Who cares? You get the point.
