I wouldn't call it a failure. Ad producers aren't really concerned with accuracy. What matters most to them is overall visual appearance of the ad and its effectiveness to communicate a message, to sell a product or service to the viewer. Ads are about creating fantasy, not realism.

She's using the shutter release button on her battery grip. It is a nice feature that you can turn off if you don't always use it by leaving the grip turned off. I have one on my Canon 7d Mark ii that has buttons that mirror the ones on top of the actual body. All the whistles and bells PLUS an extra battery which, TBT, is the main reason I bought it!

The video is reversed for sure. She can hold it anyway she wants but the grip can't flip to the left side.

Well, it's not quite as bad as this;

Oh that is too funny! And no static protective gear, no hair net, gloves, mask.

I forgot about the static strap! Guess I laughed so much at the iron.

Flipped or "just a prop". We all have seen "props" being "used" by non-users. I'll have to find the gun ad I saw a few times. Smh...

My Sigma had a red ring......

But the original reason for the post was created was questioning the apparent reversal of the image.

I believe if you read the question the op asked again he/she ask what kind of camera it was I saw the RED RING ON THE LENS, CANON CAME TO MIND logical for me because I’m a Canon user!

I had seen this ad several times without noticing the reversed shutter button. What I noticed was the slight hesitation of the photographer's hand as she reached out to touch the horse's face, indicating a sensitivity towards the animal in not startling it. HAHA! How differently we all see the world.

Yeah! Why the yellow safety glasses? Why touching the soldering iron to the board alone? No feeding the solder or anything else? The motherboard is not secured and sure we do solder when the board is not secured but we do something to keep it from moving.

It’s got an red ring on the lens my guess is it’s a Canon what model I could not tell you?

My Pentax DA 55-300mm has a red ring while the DA 18-135mm has a green ring.

It was probably shot with her facing left, which gives a sense of looking backwards.

What is the pill for? Ok I looked it up. It’s for rheumatoid arthritis.

And I guess it helps with knocking walls out and photographing wild horses 🐎 too.
