Rinvoq drug ad

There is an ad on tv for some drug called rinvoq. There is a woman sitting in the back of a jeep taking pictures of horses. She has her right hand on the focus/zoom. She has her left hand on the shutter release. Can someone tell me what camera this is or has the video been reversed?

Yep, the evidence says the video (at stages) is mirrored.
When the ad begins, bangles are on the ladies left hand and the camera
is "normal" with the release button on the right.
When the camera appears as left handed, the bangles are on her "right" hand.

It’s got an red ring on the lens my guess is it’s a Canon what model I could not tell you?

My Sigma had a red ring......
But the original reason for the post was created was questioning the apparent reversal of the image.

My guess is that it is the failure of the producer or director of the ad. The homework about the proper equipment use was skipped. This is seen more often than it should in advertisements. Often with musical instruments... which I notice having been a professional musician.
I may not be right. But that's the way it struck me at first glance.

It must be an Exakta, the shutter release is on the left side. I had one, I know. Mystery solved.

I think it's reversed … at about the 7 second mark, it (the shutter release) is on the left, then later (near the end) it's on the right, then reversed again while she's in the back of the truck.

At the start, the body is upside down when she's mounting the lens. I've never seen it done that way. Definitely a case of not doing their homework.

I wouldn't call it a failure. Ad producers aren't really concerned with accuracy. What matters most to them is overall visual appearance of the ad and its effectiveness to communicate a message, to sell a product or service to the viewer. Ads are about creating fantasy, not realism.

You may be very right. But truth and accuracy should be important. We don't get much of that these days. Too bad for us!
