Some very lovely shots. I was there in 2007--it's a great place for photography.

Just to be clear, the Gardens are in Victoria (on Vancouver Island), the capitol of British Columbia. A very pleasant way to get there - especially if you want to take your car - is the Black Ball ferry from Port Angeles, WA, on the Olympic Peninsula. Victoria is a lovely little city and the ferry docks right in the downtown harbor, but, all of Vancouver Island is well worth an extended visit, for both its seaside towns and villages and its landscape.

That's exactly how we got there -- All the way up from SOCAL via RT1 -
Really like Port Angles - Stayed the night
Drove all over lovely Vancouver Island -- Then took the ferry over to Vancouver City got home via Rt5
Back then I was driving a 2000 Integra Type R -- Pure joy ride all the way up & down

I had a 2-day extension of a cruise in Vancouver, BC and took a tour over to Victoria and back. Took a lot of pictures.

They must be retired. That's a two week tour at a minimum.

BTW, if interested in doing this, make ferry reservations on-line. (Google Black Ball ferry.) An absolute must in the summer.

The gardens are awesome. I was first there in 1947 and several times after. The last time in 2012.

Gorgeous scenes! The "cold" & "wind" don't show & the vibrant foliage colors substitute entirely for sun.
