Many thanks for your generous comments and that info on processing this old lumber. I know there are a few outfits around here that buy old barn wood and will actually raze a structure, if necessary.

Wow! So very nice. I too, have an appreciation for old barns and houses now long abandoned. This spring, I'm going to travel throughout the Palouse area of eastern Washington to photograph such structures. Again, very nice set. Ken

excellent shots of that old about to collapse barn, jederick. you sure do find a lot of them...amazing...you must be trucking on down the road most of the time.

Being a carpenter by trade with power tools!! Those shots are nice.. That is of another time, of needing something to last for, well , as long as it needed to without Simpson strong tie and logistics..!
