I have used several types of tape on the cold aluminum monopods and shoulder stocks in my kit. This IS a helpful "photography" tip.

Sometimes, I can operate my smart tv and my Fire Stick. I use friction tape on the remotes to keep from dropping them. I have been known to tape the remotes to my hand to keep my wife from getting them, at nappy time.
