Some drummers like to use stick wrap for better grip or, if you’re old like me, arthritis. I bought stick wrap -$7.00 to wrap two pairs. I discovered electrical tape does the job better at a fraction of the cost Hope the tip is helpful.

When I marched in Drum Corps, we used tape designed for tennis rackets. Electrical tape gets a bit slippery when you sweat, unless it's for the upper portion of the sticks.

Something similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/Tourna-Multi-Purpose-Sticky-Grip-Green/dp/B018LTIHU6/ref=sr_1_54?dchild=1&keywords=grip+tape+for+rackets&qid=1581031137&sr=8-54

Not sure where you are applying this in photography, but I can talk about drums all day long in General Chit-Chat.

What exactly do you wrap? The lens? Your fingers?

I was wondering the same thing. This topic probably belongs in the “General Chit Chat” section. Probably just an honest mistake.

Mix kale with 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
it makes it easier to scrape into the trash can.

from the responses in this thread, once again it shows photographers have a sense of humor. The drumstick is one of the most of critical accessories when the need to prod someone between you and a potential pulitzer.

I used to play the trombone, and wouldn't put kale in anything. Sooooo many other veggies worth exploring. Lol.

Not sure, but think the OP was referring to friction, or hockey tape. Gaffers tape in other countries. Works like a charm in certain situations.
