This is the first Super Bowl game where in my opinion the commercials sucked. I thought they were inane and pointless without any redeeming value. Great game however.

Wait. Don't give me all the answers because I haven't seen the commercials yet. I only recorded it for the commercials. But thanks for the warning.

Have you noticed that all people present in all commercials always smile? This is very strange and not natural for people to, say, smile while asleep (mattress commercial).
Also have you listened to the side effects of medications they want you to buy? "Could be fatal" is one of them, I think the USA is the only place on earth that allows commercials for medications.
And let's not forget that MOST of the commercials are blatant lies, people just don't check the ridiculous claims they make.

Thank you Len, we used to have good commercials, remember the "where is the beef" commercial?
Or the Subaru commercial where "Crocodile Dundee" freezes the car in midair and explains....
Today the commercial writers simply lost it, been a long long time since I've seen a good commercial.

And, the Allstate ad is the worst. The guy who bothers the female driver and intimadates passing cars.

Not a "good" image for an insurance co.

They just don't know what to do anymore so they resort to stupid extremes like those you described.
State Farm (I think) though has good ones like the truck that hits the roof, or the expensive Mercedes that is filled with concrete... But the good ones are rare and far in between.

I got a real scare from my Pharmacy. They put the wrong pills in the bottle for my heart medication. If I hadn't had a couple of pills to compare them with it might have gone unnoticed. When I told pharmacist about the error. He said "it shouldn't have happened". Duh!

Don't knock Geico.i have them and if you insure your brand new vehicle, you get mechanical insurance for practical nothing for 5 years or 75,000 miles.for a couple hundred dollars you can take your car in after your warranty is over and have your ac,motor, transmission, etc replaced if it goes bad.sure beats paying for an extended warranty. They are the only company I know that will do that.

We're not knocking the company service and quality of service.
We are after the stupid ads on TV. They are very demeaning to the image of the company, as they try to attract more business.
