You have a better solution to the problems in the Middle East ? Tell us what this would be ? The problems in the Middle East are really insoluble until the countries in the Middle East realize (which they will not) that their two biggest enemies are poverty and lack of education, not people burning copies of the Koran. When 56% of the women in one of the countries (I think it is Egypt) are kept ignorant by the system AND CANNOT EVEN READ, what hope do these people have ?

LOL I said nothing about solutions to the Middle East, I merely pointed to the distortions by the current administration and the lapdog press that all is well and better now that president Obama has come into office when in fact nothing could be further from the truth! He has relied on his mere presence in office as meaning something to the rest of the world and has only set us back.... Again, you point to me as if it is my responsibility to offer solutions and you try to deflect from this president's disengagement and his focus on campaigning for over 2 years now while he remains disengaged from working on solutions to the problems that he was sent to that office to fix... He is unproductive and actually disinterested in his office, but he loves the campaign trail, the fame and fortune not to mention the private jets and helicopters that come with the office... He just does not care so much for the hard work and has effectively avoided it so far....

In case you do not read the papers or get any news down there in Florida = the Middle east has been burning since - well since we invaded 15 yrs ago?

In case you haven't understood the world does not bow down to the US and do everything we want.

In case you need help remembering Mitt is the guy who without much thought is willing to liquify Iran if only to make a point and perhaps a side play on oil futures.......

Maybe you suffer from short term memory loss, over the last year the press has been reporting and the president has been glowing about the decimation of Al Queda and how much safer we have become... The president has used his Cairo speech as his foreign policy and outreach to that part of the world and has done much like everything else has not displayed much interest or effort in foreign policy.... Just a few short weeks ago the president was using the slogan "Bin Laden is Dead" as an exclamation point as to his foreign policy success... Now we see a different picture quickly developing. We see the Muslim world erupting in a manner that we have never seen before, we see them sending the direct message to this president that there are 1.5 billion Bin Laden's all sharing the same goal of death to America.... Do you not think that this president spiking the football as he has, using the Bin Laden murder as a campaign slogan has not added fuel to the fire... He has accomplished nothing and his naivete and lack of engagement has set us back years in our intelligence gathering capabilities and our ability to effectively engage... His foreign policies to this part of the world were simply based on three simple things.... His speech, his constant use of drones in several different countries, and US foreign aid, as if he could actually purchase friends and allegiance in that part of the world... He has burned intelligence partners for his own standing and prestige in the eyes of his followers and the press in this country again setting our country and our national security back...

Maybe it is you who is not paying attention...

You are not worth an answer to that reply, Sarge. Talk about a bigot. You are absolutely and totally bigoted against anyone and everyone from the other party. No measure of good faith escapes your rejection and scorn does it? No use in trying.

I agree with Sarge 69. If ever there was a cheat, it' Romney !

I think you are agreeing with Ole Sarg, not the more thoughtful Sarge 69. 8-)

Typical! California goes down the toilet and he knows the other 49 will pay for it.
California should have a STATE income tax on the movie actors of 50%, you make $20 million you pay $10 million, no deductions!
If you move to Fiji or Bali are you willing to pay them a living wage of $18/hr., I don't think so!

How if all the states did their business like CA. There'd be no money left for California.

He does. My guess is that he paid more than you will in your working life. If you are talking about the fact he should pay a higher %, then I ask you "Why?" Hell, he probably uses less of the tax provided services than you, i.e private schools, private security and others. As for what he does use, I don't think rich people flush more than you nor drive on roads more than you(though maybe in a more expensive vehicle that they paid more tax on) Again, I ask you , WHY?

Did you ever see a senator on tv that ever looks like he's just getting by. They have the most expensive suits, expensive glasses, hair done perfectly. Give me a break I work for a living and buy my glasses off a rack in WalMart.

Whichever Sarge said that Romney is a liar and a cheat is the one I agree with, too. The record is clear. And I am sure that in your personal financial life you wouldn't buy a used car from the man even though you think he should be president.

As a younger voter, and along with many of voters out there like to think that we are looking for the truth when it comes to elections. However it's almost stereotypical and common knowledge that candidates make promises they don't keep, speak claimed "truths" that aren't true, just to promote their political agenda and to sway, you the voter to send the votes their way; this known as propaganda. It is our job as a voter to find the truth in this and do our own research before deciding on who is going to get our vote, not rely on everything the media tells us (which once again, is tweaked whether it's liberal or conservative to promote the company's overall political agenda too).

The irony I find especially now with this election is that we are always demanding the truth from these people but yet when one get's caught telling the truth he get's fired at and spit on because it is offensive, racist, ect...

We must remember that ever since Olesarg was released from the gulag for re-education purposes, he's never been the same.

If you think he's making any headway, you need to check out the response Ryan got at AARP. Now I know some of you will simply attack AARP as a left wing, communist, socialist, radical, redistribution of wealth organization, but remember the only polls that Romney/Ryan lead in is old white guys and the old white guys at this meeting, didn't seem too supportive.

Romneys distraction? My Kit Lens but you are myopic. The Dems have been bitching for him to release prior years taxes for months. Why? Because it would create a wonderful diversion from having to discuss Obama's dismal performance. They know full well that the best defense is a strong offense.

Olesarg was probably a teacher and gets a pension that would make us all blush.

You know that there were many people who thought the soviet system was so great, that they moved there.

What happened Olesarg?

So it is revenge that you seek? Is that what it is, he is rich so we must punish him?

I just don't see how taking money for anybody and giving it to a corrupted government solves anything... I would prefer to see the private economy rally a recovery without the government trying to steer it as the government steering the economy only means more corruption, more taxpayer payouts to private individuals who have done whatever it is that they do to befriend those influential enough in government to effect the spending of taxpayer dollars or the development of our regulations... No, taxing the rich in the face of trillion dollar budgets is nothing more than a symbolic gesture to people such as yourself, how does an additional $80 billion help to alleviate a $1.3 trillion annual deficit... No, I have to say that liberal hate is unbecoming.

The problem is that one man's truth is another man's lie.

So lying is now your qualifier? This president has a history of lying to the American people... Let's look at the last week, he has maintained that the attack in Benghazi was in response to the movie trailer and not a planned terrorist attack... the president and his administration continued to tell this lie even after facts were coming out that proved the opposite... It was a willful lie told to deflect from his failure... Then as recent as the Univision interview he blatantly told another lie that Fast and Furious was a field program that was started under the Bush administration and that is another bold faced lie... Fast and Furious is not a program started under the Bush administration it was started under the Obama administration. Wide Reciever was a similar type of program under the Bush administration that was much smaller in scope and had much tighter control placed on it which included electronic gps tracking of the guns...

The president directly lies to you and your response is to call Romeny a lair... Dems... you guys kill me. LOL
