I don't think most of the people posting are even aware of special interest groups on FB. I belong to about 6 just on photography alone. What do people think the Hog is ? Answer: Special Interest Group.

I've never found a reason to use it and i'm not aware that i've missed anything. My wife uses it and complains daily about the rubbish she gets sent.

I post pics that I feel they may like, not to boast (except on my only grandbaby!) but to share beauty I find in things such as flowers, clouds, mountains, National and State Parks. My simple philosophy is...if I’m not interested in a posting, I just ignore it.

I'm sorry, but what happened to email? I liked that because it was
connecting to a select group and not the whole world like FB seems
to be. I thought it was easier for forwarding pictures to family, too.
I sadly found family members and friends dropping from emailing
and going go FB, which I too don't care that much for.

I think it might have something to do with cell phones. At least my cell phone (AT&T) does a horrible job with email, half of it never shows up, and it's pretty much a mess. I still do email but not many do. Many people rarely use there PC if they have one, and pretty much have their cells stuck to their face 24-7.
