Work benches always get my attention for so many reasons. This is cool Jim!
Neat compared to mine which looks like my desk looked at work.
I love the shot, work benches go through periods of being a 'collection bench' until a project worthy of its real estate comes along, i think. My wife will occasionally 'straighten up' my desk but NOBODY cleans up my workbench! I like what Jim-Pops said about putting it on challenge page
The vice is a blacksmith's vice. There maybe a forge and blacksmith tools floating around the shop.
Nice.

I've also heard it as "An empty desk means an empty mind."
When I clean my art room,no one can tell.so why bother 😂
So good to see some one else's work bench

Abo is right. That bench hasn't actually been worked on in a long time.
Just used as a catchall shelf.
A Work Bench was meant to hold an item to be worked on. Like a Carpenter
or cabinetmaker planing or otherwise shaping a piece of wood.
Or a mechanic/metalworker holding something in the vise while filing etc.

This reminds me of my father's work bench, it had more tools and less other stuff on it. He did carpentry some and auto mechanics, then auto products sales.
