Actually the original post was regarding practicing and getting better. It had a very nice pic.
I personally prefer it over the monstrosity you used in your avatar.

Just as this is not a firearm forum it's not a flower, automobile, mountain etc forum.

Just because you don't like a pic doesn't mean it's not worthy of being on this or any other site.

I'm also an enthusiast and I invested in a Sig P226 X5 Level One USPSC in 9mm and it is in the category of high accuracy and high precision. I've never shot a pistol that fit me and my style so well. I shoot "chase the rabbit" which is where I shoot the first round into the target somewhere and then try to put the next five in the same hole. If there is ever a flyer in the group it was surely me and not the pistol.

The first sentence of your reply has some validity, everything after that is irrelevant and detracts from the relevance of the first sentence.
Your third sentence is immature and petty.
Your fifth sentence shows that you missed the point entirely. The objection is not to the picture.

Perhaps "petty" is a two way street.

Back in the day, I could hit a one quart oil can at a 100 yards, well over 90% of the time.

So you practiced every 3000 miles?

The point is an analogy: it’s not the guns that improve accuracy, it’s the practice. It’s not the camera that improves the photos, it’s the practice.

You are wrong. Read the section title. General Chit-Chat (non-photography talk). Focus on the bracketed copy..."non-photography".

I have always thought the "General Chit -Chat" means "General" Chit-Chat, which can include subjects other than photography. Can someone give me the real meaning before I lose my mind worrying about this!

It has been mentioned before that it was originally posted in Main Photography Discussion and moved to General Chit-Chat by Admin. If you had read the thread you would have been aware of that.

PS: I love firearms. There is nothing better than being in the outdoors with my camera and a handgun on my hip! Anything can be hiding behind a tree. If it's something beautiful, take a picture of it. If it's something
dangerous let's just say I'm too old to run like it used too.

Years ago I only owned two handguns, a Walther PPK and a Sig 239...While both Handguns were extremely accurate, they were not accurate enough for me, so I typed in the Internet, Most Accurate Handguns, and began my Quest...Over a couple of years I purchased the legendary Sig P210-6, the laser like HK P7M8 and HK P9S, the Mauser Luger, the Walther P88 and Walther P5 Compact, and the old Warhorse Browning High-power, I also shot my Brother's Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, Ed Brown, Les Baer, and Colts and Kimbers...I came to the Conclusion that Extremely Accurate Handguns do make You a Better Shooter after spending Thousands of Dollars and Sending Thousands of Rounds Downrange...So I pulled my original Walther PPK and Sig 239 out of the Gunsafe and went to the Range and I could not believe how Accurate they had become after sitting for two years in my Gunsafe !!! I am now on a similar Quest in Photography !!!
Years ago I only owned two handguns, a Walther PPK... (show quote)

The analogy is a good one I can relate to. Nice collection too!

Before I scoff, with what. I will give 10 to 1 that NOBODY can hit that target at 100 yards with a handgun scoring that rate.
