Years ago I only owned two handguns, a Walther PPK and a Sig 239...While both Handguns were extremely accurate, they were not accurate enough for me, so I typed in the Internet, Most Accurate Handguns, and began my Quest...Over a couple of years I purchased the legendary Sig P210-6, the laser like HK P7M8 and HK P9S, the Mauser Luger, the Walther P88 and Walther P5 Compact, and the old Warhorse Browning High-power, I also shot my Brother's Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, Ed Brown, Les Baer, and Colts and Kimbers...I came to the Conclusion that Extremely Accurate Handguns do make You a Better Shooter after spending Thousands of Dollars and Sending Thousands of Rounds Downrange...So I pulled my original Walther PPK and Sig 239 out of the Gunsafe and went to the Range and I could not believe how Accurate they had become after sitting for two years in my Gunsafe !!! I am now on a similar Quest in Photography !!!

Accuracy: Do you mean it should be "...owned only..."?

Or, you are continuing to buy guns until you get the one that is most accurate - like the "best camera."

The point is an analogy: it’s not the guns that improve accuracy, it’s the practice. It’s not the camera that improves the photos, it’s the practice.

If people envy your guns, that's worth something, isn't it?

I think it has a lot to do with this forum. The weapon and the camera are both aimed and "shot". The difference is the accuracy. A weapon propels a piece of metal which does not hit the target precisely in the same place every time. For the most part, over a short distance, the accuracy is tolerable. For the purist, not so much.
With the camera, where you point will give a rendition of what you "shot". A cropped frame camera doesn't give you every part of the picture, while a full frame gives a truer and fuller rendition. As we are able to purchase cameras with better accuracy than others, cropped frame versus full frame and 5 mega pixels versus 24 megapixels.
Weapons or cameras, we are all on the same quest.

Not Really, especially on a Photography Forum, just making Fun of Myself, as the saying goes, A Fool and his Money are Soon Parted and the Old Saying, I am an Expert at making a Small Fortune out of a Large One ! By the Way I enjoy your one liners ! Equipment plus Skills equals Mission Accomplished ! I think we would all agree that it takes both good equipment and good skill to get the job done, with some of us leaning towards skill and some leaning toward equipment, but both are to me necessary,,,and yes as a crop shooter I am looking at full frame...

Back in the day, I could hit a one quart oil can at a 100 yards, well over 90% of the time. These were full magnums not target loads. It's all about practice.

"full frame gives a truer and fuller rendition" Ridiculous! The field of view is different between cropped and full frame, but you can get whatever field of view you want with either through your lens selection.

They may be accurate, but are they precise? Viva la difference!
