Is anyone still using the D610 or recently purchased one in 2019?
What do you like about it?
I have read mostly great reviews, but some not so great reviews about the video capabilities, which I don't care about. I am switching to a full frame for real estate and abandoned property photography. Looking at used equipment.

Thanks

If you want a used Nikon D610, MPB Camera has a number of them. Here is a link to the D610's they have in stock. They have quite a few D610's. There is one listed as excellent condition with a shutter count of 5,625. This is the SKU for the camera I saw... SKU: 907376 for $689.00. MPB offers a 6 month warranty on what they sell.

https://www.mpb.com/en-us/used-equipment/used-photo-and-video/used-digital-slr-cameras/used-nikon-digital-slr-cameras/nikon-d610/

KEH Camera only had 1 used D600 in stock, no D610's.

B&H has a refurbished one for $575. It has 30k shutter count. I love my D610

I own the D610 and it has been a great camera for me.
I still have my D610, but I also own the D750 which I now use regularly. It is much better in low light and handles higher ISO much better than the D610.
I have to say I have taken some beautiful pictures with my D610, but the D750 is my preferred camera now.

Me too - I don't own it anymore but I was recently going through older photographs and the image quality from that camera exceeded most all of what came before and after.

Thank you. I see a few for sale for around $600, but shutter counts are usually in the 40k to 50k range.
How does that compare to the one that you sold?

50,000 shutter clicks is about one third of the shutter life on that camera. Furthermore, you did not say where you are buying the camera. I hope not 42nd Street Photo. Because, they have a reputation of selling gray market cameras. Which you don't want. Also, be aware that the D610 is a discontinued camera. And Nikon has no intentions of extending the D600 series cameras anytime soon. Or never? However, it has been a great entry-level full frame camera, and quite popular as well. I have met two photographers who still own the D600, the predecessor to the D610. Good luck.

The D610 is a good camera and should serve you well. It is my second camera now since obtaining the D850 and gets less use but performs very well. It has less resolution than some of the latest cameras, however for property work it should do fine. The D600 had an oil spot issue which was supposedly corrected in the D610 so it might be worth inquiring if there have been any issues.

Not all D600 cameras had the oil spot issue. It depends on the serial number. I have a D600 that does not exhibit spotting.

Please, most older cameras are discontinued. As the OP is looking for a used one what bearing does that have either way or whether or not Nikon will continue the series?
The fact that some D600s had an oil issue (mine doesn't) also has zero bearing on the D610 as that camera was a 'fixed' replacement for the D600 and had/has no oil spot issues

Correct. The two photographers I met who had the D600, said they had no problems with them.

Two of my 3 cameras are discontinued. A four year old Nikon Bridge camera. Still clicking. The other is a 4 year old Nikon DSLR. The Sony pocket camera, also 4 years old, is not discontinued yet. Perhaps in another year? Yes, great cameras, and not so great cameras are all discontinued eventually. That's how camera manufacturers make money on New production cameras. I was not trying to tell the OP not to buy a D610 camera because it was discontinued. Just, letting the OP know that it was discontinued. Probably didn't know that?

The D610 is still a good full frame camera even by today's standards. Sure, you can get a smaller Nikon Z6 full frame mirrorless at more than twice the price, but your photo's wont be that much better.
