Is anyone still using the D610 or recently purchased one in 2019?
What do you like about it?
I have read mostly great reviews, but some not so great reviews about the video capabilities, which I don't care about. I am switching to a full frame for real estate and abandoned property photography. Looking at used equipment.

Thanks

I just sold one. Only because I upgraded to d750. Absolutely loved the d610. I never use video so it didn't matter. Only difference I see in the 750 is it focuses better in low light. Long story short loved the 610

Thank you. I see a few for sale for around $600, but shutter counts are usually in the 40k to 50k range.
How does that compare to the one that you sold?

When I came across a scene I felt was important, and that I felt was worthy of as much image oomph as I could muster, I reached for my D610. Now that I've got a D810, my D610 sees less use, but not by much. Even though they're now of 'earlier' technology, considering the average price (often well under $600) of clean, relatively low shutter count examples, they should still be thought of a highly desirable --and highly affordable-- step up into the FX format. As with most basic DX/FX considerations, though, it depends on your particular usage, and using better or best glass makes a major difference.

The D610 is a good camera and should serve you well. It is my second camera now since obtaining the D850 and gets less use but performs very well. It has less resolution than some of the latest cameras, however for property work it should do fine. The D600 had an oil spot issue which was supposedly corrected in the D610 so it might be worth inquiring if there have been any issues.

Thank you. I can't seem to find one with a low shutter count but will keep looking.

I bought a Nikon refurb 610 about a year ago. Mine had around 4K shutter count. It's a good intro into FF and I use mine for landscapes on a tripod. I think it will work great for your purposes. A word of warning, FF cameras "like" good glass. For wildlife in FF it's OK but there are better cameras for that. The D850 has a MUCH better focusing system and I'm getting the best action photographs of my life with it.

I have a D610 and love it. I use it for landscapes and low light situations where my D7200 wont cut it. I got mine used from KEH but it is in fantastic condition.

Patience, Grasshopper. I picked-up a D610 about a month ago. USA model, Mint condition in Box w/papers, accessories, 9100 shutter clicks, $470.00. Road tested it in the Smokies [ https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-618083-1.html ]. Very good camera. It should do you well.

I bought my D610 over five years ago from Cameta. I also bought a gently used AF24-70f2.8 from a fellow hogger. I have had both of them cleaned and tuned up by Authorized Photo Service in suburban Chicago and the pair work perfectly together. I also use all of my old Nikkor film lenses, manual and autofocus, on my D610 and have had no problem with any of them. I see no reason to replace or upgrade to something newer because this camera meets all of my needs.

I've been using a D610 (combined with at 28-300) for a bit over a year now; it was an upgrade from my D7100. Mine had a shutter count under 10,000 when purchased (now over that), I paid about $650 on eBay. It is proving to be an outstanding camera; I love it and the results it gives me. My usage revolves around shots of grandkids/family, birds, scenic landscapes, social group gatherings, and action shots of skiers racing on a slalom course; it has excelled at all.
I hope it is obvious that I really enjoy this camera and think very highly of it.

I bought a D610 about three years ago with a very low shutter count. It is a great full frame camera with plenty of megapixels for big enlargements. I had several full frame lenses from the past when I was using film and those lenses are the ones I use with the camera. Most recently I bought a 24-85 f3.5-4.5 AF-S, VR and it has become the lens I use more often with the D610.

This D610 of mine is used mainly for landscape photography. It makes a perfect combo for portraits with my old 105 f2.5 Nikon lens. It is pretty good in low light, not the best but pretty good. I do not use it for wildlife or action photography but I am sure it will do fine for a majority of users. I have found the AF adequate for my uses.

If you find one with a good price and low mileage you will be happy with it.

I got a refurbished one from Cameta and it only had 12 clicks...
