A few more shots of the foot bridge which I estimate to be roughly a quarter mile in length. There were some fallen trees due to the recent snow storm. Snow in October! who would have thunk it.

Love # 3. The other two would be better without the fallen trees, especially the zig zag walk.
I love the picture with the added "snap." The photo, just by its self w/wo any changes, makes me want to get on that bridge & find out what is at the other end. Isn't that what a great picture is suppose to do?
I would like to see some more of your other pix from both your walk abouts. Thanks for sharing.
I could set for hours and just drink it all in. The peacefulness of the surroundings and the color of nature is just wonderful

Love the image. You could refocus the image to guide the viewer to a specific area of interest and allow the complexity of the rest of the image to recede somewhat for effect.

If you don't mind me asking, where was this shot taken? I live in NJ about 30 min from Allentown. Looks like a wonderful, peaceful site to take a walk
I like it----I just wouldnt want to be walking across the far bridge--it looks a little wobbly.
Nice shot! The composition would be more pleasing if you had moved your viewpoint to the right so that the bridge on the left angled more into/towards the center of the photo. This would lead the eye towards the center of interest. Very nice work.
I agree with brucew29, the added saturation helps. also maybe move to the left so that you are on the left side of the walkway and show the walkway instead of the right edge of it..........
I like the combo of BruceW29's snap and loungelarry's vignetting. Will play around with those and adjust to my liking. Thanks gentlemen. Maybe also adjust my angle to give a fuller view of the walkway as suggested by Val(thank you) and others.
cosmo54 see link below for directions.
http://wildlandspa.org/about_us/directions.htmlParking is on the Left, the walking bridge trail is on the Right. You can't see it from where you park, it's kind of hidden in the woods. Follow the stream and you should see it.
If you ever decide to go, feel free to send me a PM, I live about 5 miles away. There are deer there sometimes, Hawks and sometimes Blue Heron.

thanks liegard, it's a snowman my daughter & I made a couple of years ago. It originally was about 7' tall but after a couple of days of warm weather it shrank and bent over. At 1st I tried to have it reading a newspaper but it was too windy, then I got the idea to have him taking a photo. I used my daughter point & shoot to take the shot.
I don't think it's too busy ! To me it's a nice shot of a early fall scene. My eye is drawn to the bridge in the far distance.
I think it could use a little color enhancement

I hope you don't mind. I just had to see what this shot would look like using topaz.
