I took this photo yesterday and although I like it, I can't help but feel it's too busy. Would having someone on the bridge or walkway help in providing a better focal point, is there just too much going on here to really make for a good shot or am I just being too critical? Any helpful suggestions in greatly appreciated.

Please be honest, I'm here to learn, not have my ego stroked.

I am over 50, married, have 3 daughters, who, at one point were all teenagers at the same time, and I grew up with 2 older sisters. Believe me, I can handle abuse.

I think if you had someone standing where the two walkways meet, it would be more interesting.

Nice shot ... I don't think it's too busy .. it makes me want to go sit on the horizontal walkway and dangle my feet

I like the scene without anyone in the photo... it lets me own it and I can imagine being there. I also like a little more snap... that is my preference and others will certainly have their own opinions. I forgot to add photos... see next post.

I like it. The bridge tends to draw the eyes around the photo, and the colors are great. If you like it, that's what matters.

to me the subject is the reflection, I would try to bring that out as crisp and clear as possible .

Just added a tad of color and contrast... and did slight burn-in on handrail.

I love it--especially with the "snap". I'd so love to be on that bridge...

I would like to get out of my house and yard... only doing work here... but it needs to be done, weather permitting!!! I wish I could walk that footbridge!

I like what Bruce did to it. I am thinking how nice it would have been if you had walked to the left a little more to shoot the bridge straight on.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'm hoping to go back tomorrow, and try your suggestions. Perhaps my wife can come along, but no way will she put her feet in that water(it's really dirty & slimy) but maybe try a shot with her walking across the bridge. Hopefully there's still color in the leaves.
