Frank, I hope that area can remain as it is now. Until the age of 15 I grew up about 15 miles from there near an area which at that time was considered part of the "Great Swamp of NJ" and it looked very similar to that photo. We kids spent a great deal of time there. Now some 65 years later it is mostly housing developments and the swamp isn't swampy any longer. Troy Meadows though listed as a National Natural Landmark is still mostly privately owned. I'm sure there are deed restrictions but we all know how that goes.

Rich as I mentioned in my response to Dave the fellow who told me about the area is named Lenny Fariello. He has been active in keeping this an open space. I was told by someone I met there that He was able to prevent an airport from being constructed in the Great Swamp.
Since he told me about the area, I have been there three times. It is popular with birders. Great place to just enjoy nature.
