While out this past Sunday, a friend and I decided to walk around Blue Angel Recreation Park in Pensacola, FL looking for interesting scenes to practice long exposure photography with a near full moon. It was definitely a learning experience working in near dark areas and using flashlights to alternate focusing on our cameras. All in all we came away with some decent (we think) compositions.

This one in particular was just off of a main picnic area around a 5 minute walk into the woods. This is all shoreline so the vegetation isn't as dense, allowing for moon light to come through in interesting ways.

C&C always welcome!

Thank you all.

Yes it is a dark and haunting photo for sure! There is a an old family cemetery near this area through the woods, and that may lead to some random hauntings.

Moonlight is very misleading for sure, and it was very tough to find a consistent exposure, so I'm glad I came out with at least one half-decent shot.
