While out this past Sunday, a friend and I decided to walk around Blue Angel Recreation Park in Pensacola, FL looking for interesting scenes to practice long exposure photography with a near full moon. It was definitely a learning experience working in near dark areas and using flashlights to alternate focusing on our cameras. All in all we came away with some decent (we think) compositions.
This one in particular was just off of a main picnic area around a 5 minute walk into the woods. This is all shoreline so the vegetation isn't as dense, allowing for moon light to come through in interesting ways.
C&C always welcome!

Well done βββπΈπππ!!
Thank you all for the kind words!
Marquina, I am about to head out for my daughter's soccer game, but I will give it a go and post here when I get home tonight. Thanks for the recommendation, new ideas are always worth a try!

I added a little vignette to it, but I'm not sure if it's too much, or not enough.
This is one I may print out for my office, so I'm probably going to stick with the original, but thank you for giving me more ideas for future shots.
Great shot! I like the original better and it will look great on your wall!
A great, haunting image, John! I almost expect to see some ghostly figures lurking in those shadows.

I like it, has a moody feeling!
Just a REALLY great photo
Great b&w treatment and subject - moonshots are tricky at best, and you have made a fine image with it!
