Keep them coming, Joe. This is what I expect to see on this forum. This is enjoyable to look at, and educational for those pursuing nude photography.
Very nice photo work thanks for sharing saying hello from Pittsburgh.
Beautiful girl, beautiful light, beautiful shot!
Now that's a true figure study. I like it a lot.

Downlighting....
This image shows not only class, but a beautiful command of the lighting, posing and camera knowledge. Just beautiful, JoeJoe!!!

Wonderful. The downlighting works so well but what I really like is the fill light which I am guessing was only what reflected up from the white she is sitting on? Just beautiful.
Beautiful photograph, something to aspire to.
Thank you for posting it.
Any chance we can talk you to detailing how it was taken, settings, lighting etc?
Lovely model, too, which certainly doesn't hurt!

Thank you Vertigo
You are spot on the light fall off reflecting back from the white box surface....

It is a very simple 1 light setup...
It was a studio within a white infinity curve (doesn't matter as its only the background we are concerned with).
A 4-5 foot strip light on a boom arm directly above the model (power we used 1/4 to 1/2 but this is balanced by the shooter and what he wants to achieve and also the brand of lighting)
As the box she is sat on is white this reflects back up giving a semi graduated clam shell lighting in effect...
The only light was the model lamp switched on, all other lights in the studio (which is dark) off....
This brings me to the camera settings....The important thing IMHO
Shooting in Manual
F5 @100mm (Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX lens) D600 FX camera
ISO 100
1/125th
The lens focus is calibrated to the body just prior to the shoot so as to ensure critical focus …
Hope this helps...
Regards
Joe
