I was at a photo show two days ago and saw demonstrations of this technique for portraiture, and the results can be amazingly good... as shown here in a "full body" portrait. This is just soooooo nice!

Despite having enjoyed my cameras over so many years and having obtained a few decent photo-jounalistic images, I have an enormous amount to learn.
Mostly, in my case, decent images have involved being at the right place at a fortuitous time, with a camera hanging around my neck.
I have great admiration for people who start with nothing but an idea, and a box of stuff - which may or may not be a big box - and most importantly the knowledge, with which to make it happen.
In this image, you definitely made it happen!
