Wonderfully done - I'm a big fan of B&W and these images show just how effective that treatment is!

Excellent in B & W. Gets me thinking about working on a few of my Tanzania images in B & W.

I think going gaa gaa over black and white is nothing but being pretentious. Would MUCH prefer seeing them in NATURAL color. Sorry for offending some!

No problem 19photo30. We all get choices in what we like or don't like.

I do find 'pretentious' is an unusual adjective to throw out considering that the first 100 years or so of photography was all B & W.

You are commenting on my work 19photo30. I am not pretentious in any way, shape or form. I happen to love black and white images. It's my preference which doesn't have anything to do with pretention. You happen to prefer colour. That's your choice and your right. You can state that fact without offending somebody else. And, incidentally, you can view those same images in colour in my earlier posts.

Can't thank you enough for the B&W as well as for the color photos. Having both is a very unique experience. Thank you once again for these fabulous photos.

Floyd2 asked about seeing Kruger shots in black & white. I wasn't sure how they'd look but I was pleasantly surprised after spending some time on a few. I'd value your feedback.

Deb, I finally found it. These are awesome! Very difficult to narrow it down to the four to print. Each one has a certain appeal. I imagine the memory you have connected with it plays a big part too.

One more time Deb. I'm especially struck with the two giraffes, elephant with flared ears, herd of Cape/Water? Buffalo and the monkey with the little ones. But, heck they are all very special!
