Let's say I'm working on two or more photos that I've loaded into PS, each one on its own tab. When individually saving them one after another, I'm frustrated that I have to drill down to the same save location for each one. Unless I'm missing something, I'd like to see PS remember where the previous one was saved.

Next week is the annual Adobe Max conference in Los Angeles. They always use it to promote new tools, tricks and features. Yesterday Adobe previewed via YouTube a new, improved "AI" Sensai driven Selection Tool.

A hover-over illustration when mousing over such things as the choices to use you selection with a mask on a new layer or make a new layer with just a selection etc.

Easy instructions in laymen terms instead of Geek hodge podge!!! With video instructions that are slow and enlarged so one can see what the hell is going on.....

I agree. The monthly fee is just fine for all those new photographers but Adobe didn't even consider giving a discount to any of there previous customers who had already paid out big money.

I don’t experience them the same way that you describe.

This is a very good question. Adobe is doing some good things and listening to customers. I like the easy accessible tutorials right from the main screen.

Ok - I would like a more “Lightroom like” perspective tool. And I would love a “crop to frame” function.
Sometimes I Zoom in and move the image around and that is the crop I want. But then I have to open the crop tool and try to remember what I had in the Image frame. I would like to be able to zoom and move the image then press “crop to frame” and have that crop. With the usual save or discard pixels option of course.

"I would love a “crop to frame” function. "

Not exactly what you want but try.... positioning image in frame, use selection tool and select across the entire frame, then click Image ---> Crop.

Hmmm. Thank you for the tip!

That does work but it appears to be destructive.

So I will need to save the cropped file under another name. Am I correct in that?

Yes, save the cropped portion with a new name, then do an Edit ---> Step Backward, to bring back the pre cropped image.
