I have a Gossen Pilot II that is reflective and incident (no battery needed) that is always in my camera bag and a Sekonic L-358 (reflective, incident, and spot metering but "eats" batteries). Use them infrequently but invaluable when needed. I am think of getting something newer than the L-358. Also, I have an older Minolta reflective and spot meter that worked excellent, but I can no longer find a battery for it. It took an M-1 (?) mercury battery which I have yet to find a proper replacement for.

I use a Gossen Profisix meter, usually an incident reading. For studio-work, the Bowens SSR Mk11 fits the bill. Helps to balance individual lights, and set the overall final reading.

I use a Sekonic 858 and love it. But, I still do carry an old Weston Master III analog that Ive had for 50+ years and its still spot on compared to the Sekonic

Occasionally I do! I have a 35+ years old Minolta F III meter and a 4 years old Gossen Starlite exposure/flash meter. Amazingly, both show the same measurements!

In my view the only reason to use a meter today is if you are shooting with film or for setting light ratios for multiple studio lights. Otherwise the preview screen on your camera is all you need. I have a Minolta-4 but haven’t used it in years, even for portrait work.

When using my FM2 with a broken light meter, or my Kodak Tourist ll and want to check exposure, I use the digital light meter in my digital D750. Set it on maual, take shots until the scene looks right on the screen, then set my manual film camera to the same setting as my D750 was set at when the scene looked right.

Regarding the digital qualifier in your question, does the type of indicator matter or are you interested in whether people use a dedicated meter? I used a Pentax spot (which I sold back in college.) I find that with the dynamic range of sensors and post processing, the need for accurate metering is somewhat considerably less than when using film where you get only one shot with the developer, especially with larger formats where bracketing is impractical. If I ever resurrect my darkroom for 120 film I will likely use a bridge camera as a spotmeter.

I use an incident light meter in the morning for correct exposures for birds on flight.

On the now very rare occasions when I need a light meter - eg. when using my 10 stop - I'm just using one of the surprisingly accurate light meters in my cell phone.
