My ipad air2 still works, but the OS now takes up most of the hard drive. I had to deletes apps and photos to keep it working. I never had that much on it to begin with.

ALL software has bugs. Some versions have fewer than others.

Apparently, iPad Air (1), iPhone 5 and 6 are not included in the iOS 13 upgrade. there was a security patch put out for them on 12.4.3. So it looks like we either have to be happy with what they do now or get newer versions.
Mine is only 16gb memory and was the absolute cheapest, when I do get a new one and I will, the old one will be for the grandkids to play games on and watch videos.
