I have only dealt with Roberts and have always been satisfied. They have my business as long as they have what I am looking for. If not, I would definitely try UHH....Carter's...for no other reason than MT is an active member here and has great feedback. While B&H and Adorama are in my backyard....I prefer to first go to reputable small businesses in other parts of the country. Sort of like 'spread the wealth' from the big city.

mpb.com is a good place to deal with. Never had any problems or complaints with them.
They also seem to give the best prices on gear you sell to them.
I have had good dealings with keh too.

Agreed. I've had good dealings with MPB.com. They seem to give the best price for your gear overall. Customer service and communication is excellent.

I trust Roberts Camera. I know them personally. They’re good people! 👍

Out of all the available online used camera/lens stores which one do you trust the most? This question is about trust not necessarily price. Thank you.
KEH and MPB both seem to be great. Both have 180 day or six month warranties. Both ship quickly, and have good return policies.

Don't forget Canon refurbished. I'll agree with comments about KEH, MPB, and eBay. No experience with B&H or Adorama but lately, I've heard of issues at Adorama from reliable sources and other forums. I've also bought through UHH classified and Craiglist with good results.
I have bought from KEH Ebay, and Canon refurbished. KEH would be the first place that I look in all cases.

Have had great results with purchases of cameras and lenses from the following, and they have earned my trust as the items are always equal to or beter than the description, and they also offer warranties and good-to-very generous return policies: KEH, UsedPhotoPro (Roberts), MPB.COM, and don't forget B&H, Cameta, Adorama, Hunt's, Samy's, Local Camera Store. On Ebay, several of the Pawn Shops are also excellent to deal with (I would have to go back through my purchase history to give you exact names - but will if you ask). I believe MTShooter here on UHH also has a camera store (hope that is the right name).
Nikon and Canon websites, possibly others offer great refurbs too.
One sad note, several of the smaller "mom & pop" camera stores selling on Ebay (verified US stores that have a physical store, and in business a long time) have been border line scammers, have misrepresented items, sold items with missing/removed serial number or other issues not stated....then been very difficult to deal with after the sale, even forcing Ebay intervention...and have soured me on buying from them...as I said, sad situation, as I always used to look for those places first, not so much anymore.

I have had great success and value, both selling and buying, from MBP

I will vote for KEH. Would have voted for B&H and Adorama, but not so much lately. eBay can be good, but only if you are very cautious.
I’ve lately had an unhappy experience with B&H, but it relates to their association with Synchrony Bank. I’ve never purchase used equipment from them.
I have used Adorama several times and they have a 30 day return policy of ‘no questions asked.’
The are extremely helpful and they will tell you the shutter count of the camera they send you. And it is what they say.
Hope this is helpful.

I have had no let downs with:
MPB
B&H
Adorama
Was pleasantly surprised by some good acquisitions from EBay, Amazon and PropertyRoom.com.
Lucky I guess.
My number one place to go is KEH for used gear. I recently became aware of "facebook market place". I got a pup for a 50mm nikon series E lens for $20. It was nearby so could see it before I bought it. I met the owner and talked quite a bit. I might suggest that too.

I'm with you rjaywallace....
I have both purchased from and sold used gear to KEH, B&H, Adorama and (recently) to MPB. All conducted themselves honestly and conservatively in how they assessed equipment condition. The price each would offer for a particular item of equipment might vary — probably due to usual business dynamics like how they see demand for it and how many such items they already have in stock. For purchasing ‘reconditioned’ equipment, it is worthwhile to check the manufacturers’ sites for what they offer from time to time.
