Those are a list of very true statement I believe the political ones that the reader complained about were on gun control why can’t they just see the humor and the truth in it instead of getting all flustered about the content.

Ah, thanks for that one. I didn't quite see a political side to that. Instead, I leaned towards the overall humor of the post.

Mercy me, what have I done???? If I upset anyone's sensibilities with my post I am truly sorry. I only posted "Thoughts For Today" in the spirit of humor, not to contain any political statements. Yes, I do have political beliefs, having lived in this great country for 88 years but I never post them on forums such as this. Momma always taught me, if you can't say any thing good, mum's the word. Finally, if any of the "Thought For Today" upset you, I am very, very sorry. Nuff said.

Very funny stuff!! You don't have to apologize for anything, Gene! Some of these politically minded people don't have a funny bone!! I especially like the one about the hiking trail. I know some people that seem to think that their legs will break off if they have to take one extra step!
