Greatest Starting Pitcher Ever. Sandy Koufax of the LA Dodgers. Greatest Relief Pitcher Ever. Mariano Rivera of the New York Yankees.

In your opinion. IMO, and I love Sandy, I’d go with Nolan Ryan. No argument with Mariano!!

Jose Altuve MVP of the AL Championship Series put the Houston Astros' in their first World Series with a walk of Home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to the Astros' a 6-4 game win off of Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman giving the Astros' a 4-2 series win.

The Yankees one of the highest paid teams in baseball goes to show you that "Your money can't buy you a championship. Not this year. Pitching Does."

The Astro payroll is the 7th highest in baseball.

Red Sox fan here. My Yankees buddies have been all over me this summer. Somehow, I do enjoy the yankee failure. No World Series participation in a decade. Last time that happened was in 1910. Hmmm. The “How many WS championships do the NYYs have” does get old.

Lovin’ it.

To those who say it will be a boring World Series without the Yankees and or Dodgers. Well there’s a new sheriff in town called the Houston Astros vs The Washington Nationals! I think it will be a great WS because there’s no Yankees or Dodgers.

I’m a Sox fan too and whenever my Yankee buddies give me the “but we’ve won 27 World Series” I ask them how that argument would work if they were asking their boss for a raise. “But, boss! Don’t you remember how good I used to be?” That usually shuts them up.

Two Superbowl appearances . One win, against the Denver Broncos with Peyton Manning. 2nd game was a loss to New England, with Tom Brady. Should have won that game. An interception by Russell Wilson, killed the opportunity. Still not bad for the upper northwest. Gateway to Canada and Alaska.
