mdeman, thanks so much! This hotel is so incredible! Google Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. It is incredible how they built it without blueprints.

Hiker -- I loved San Diego! I have to say the book Photo Secrets was definitely worth it -- awesome book! I took a picture of the marina at night with the San Diego skyline in the background that turned out so well. I would have never known about where to take it from. I will be posting it in the Gallery. Thanks again! I want to move there. Also went down to a sunny Jim's cave! Wow!!

Enjoy, katymom, You'll be amazed what you can do with it. Creating a movie from your photos will impress all the family. Look for tutorials to learn what you can do with the program. Amazing!

I'm not sure how Wendy did her fix, but I worked on it some more in PSE9 and with care, got equivalent results. It's amazing what you can do with PSE, but it does take a bit of learning and practice to fully appreciate it's capabilities.

Just had to try, too. Window Live Photo, cycled 6 times with a tad of brightness and contrast. Sharpened and reduced noise, which may not have been necessary.

shakey....wow...super edit. I've never heard of Window Live Photo...but it sure did a great job. Nice one.

Thanks, Rustybucket. My error, it should read Windows Live Photo Gallery. A free program but only works on Vista or Windows 7 (as far as I know). You can Google it for a download if you wish.

Glad I could help. If you have it, check it is the up-to-date version: build 15.4.3 and a bunch of other numbers, dated 2011.

Woops! New update for Windows Live Photo Gallery this one for 2012: http://windowsteamblog.com/windows/b/windowsexperience/archive/2012/08/07/introducing-the-new-windows-photo-gallery-and-movie-maker.aspx

Watch out! The download also wants to install a bunch of other programs which you may not need. Select the custom installation and select Windows Live Photo gallery and Movie Maker only.

The 2012 edition works fine on Windows 7 but may not work on Vista. For Vista download the 2011 version. Google it if you need 2011.
