A few days ago our local county Audubon Society had an initiation meeting/seminar for volunteer Eagle's nest watchers and some were overheard to say many of last year's Eagles had returned already - which is to say quite EARLY ! So, on the way home I decided to go by a place where I know the Eagles hang out and sure enough they were there !!

The first shot is a male eagle flying in to sit with the female. The female looks to me to be the same one from last year but the male looks different - and when shooting these, there was a third Eagle flying around not far away - which gives rise to the idea of a new male trying to court the female ??

There were fast moving clouds that made exposure very challenging and clouded backrounds. These are 1/1500, f8, ISO 250-320, Canon 80D and Canon 400 prime W/1.4XII handheld. These are both full frame !
