Mike your photographs from this area of California set the gold standard. Every time I visit San Francisco and surrounding areas ( I have family there) I attempt to emulate your expertise, but never come even close.

Thank you very very much, you given me a such a kind comment, but I don't think I deserve it.

I photographed Pigeon Point Light about 1985 from about the same view as your first shot. It was in the fall and I was in a Pumpkin Patch. One of my favorite shots ever, all on film of course.

Beautiful photos!!

Where exactly is this lighthouse?? There are many people from CA who look at UHH, but 50 miles from SF could be anywhere.

Thanks

As an old sailor, I really appreciate lighthouses. They are a great help to navigation if you don't have GPS.
Nice series!

Your many different perspectives are all wonderful, Mike. Each is different but of the same beauty and quality.

Love your pictures as I grew up in San Mateo County and this was a favorite destination for me as well. I believe it's called Pigeon *Point* Lighthouse.

A wonderful series. My favorite is No. 5 -- the first one with surf and rocks.
