I've been a member for five years. Upon return from Africa my 7-200 f2.8 had a focus problem. I got priority service with a 20% discount. I mailed it Saturday and received it repaired the following Friday.

I have been a member for about a year now but did not know you got priority on newly released items. I have been waiting for months for the new 85mm S lens from B&H. I guess I should have ordered it direct from Nikon and expedited. Now I am going on a trip without it. Argh!

Ask NPS for a loaner copy. I just borrowed the Z6 for a couple of weeks. You can get whatever they have available for 2 weeks.

I recently received a 40 year pin from NPS. I have dealt with them many, many times and have always had fast reliable service. From expedited service on equipment and loans. If I send a lens or camera in for repair, I get the loaner in two days. I have used their loan program for special needs. They have never failed me.

You must qualify but it is not all that hard.

Before I came to B&H I was a full time photographer and an NPS member. The first time I had to renew after coming to B&H my membership was cancelled since I no longer derived the majority of my income from shooting.

I will have the same problem in January. I am retiring from my job as the photographer at Marshall University after 41 years. I also will no longer be an NPS member.
