In the days before surgery. part 1 (a wet garden morning)
Before my surgery I was able to procure a nice 100mm macro lens.
I started as a macro shooter years ago, and them moved on to larger lenses and wild life.
But I have always found macro to be my desired realm, I just couldn't afford the lens till recently.
So I thought I would post a 3 part series of macro shots taken before my surgery.
Recovery goes OK, was very touch an go and many hospital returns and an ambulance ride
to get things resolved. Seems COPD reared its head just before surgery and created many complications afterwards.
I expect 2 more weeks before I can hold a camera still again lol.
Please enjoy, and forgive the long posts.
If I am posting to much I ask the Admin to let me know. I don't want to step on any toes or break a rule.
Thanks folks
Please enjoy :)
Lovely, thank you for sharing. Speedy recovery!
Excellent work, these are really good. Hope your feeling better soon.

Nice shots. Good luck on a speedy recovery!
Yeah, I think macro might be your forte. Very nice work.
Very nice set! Really sharp. Which lens did you buy?
Hoping for a speedy recovery....and more photos. Is there such a thing as posting too much?

For the complements and the needed well wishes :)

Wonderful shots! Get well soon!
I really enjoyed your set of wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing and speedy recovery!
Thank you.
It has been raining here for weeks, daily rains, some of which downpours.
Even if I could hold a camera, the garden is in standing water, much of it unreachable without wellies lol
