Before my surgery I was able to procure a nice 100mm macro lens.
I started as a macro shooter years ago, and them moved on to larger lenses and wild life.
But I have always found macro to be my desired realm, I just couldn't afford the lens till recently.
So I thought I would post a 3 part series of macro shots taken before my surgery.
Recovery goes OK, was very touch an go and many hospital returns and an ambulance ride
to get things resolved. Seems COPD reared its head just before surgery and created many complications afterwards.
I expect 2 more weeks before I can hold a camera still again lol.
Please enjoy, and forgive the long posts.
If I am posting to much I ask the Admin to let me know. I don't want to step on any toes or break a rule.
Thanks folks
Please enjoy :)

I do enjoy Macro, but most of the year I shoot the larger birds at the Rookekry, the Gators and such.
During that time
there are way fewer insects available to shoot, and the constant wind makes it almost impossible.
So I use the summer season for that. Lotsa bugs, little wind and lots of light :)
Nice images have a speedy recovery
