Things have changed so much since I left SG in 1975 too. I've come back and visit many times since late 90s.
I lived in SG from 72-75 so I know Cholon really well.
Hope you could comeback and visit SG again.
Thx

It really looks different than when I was there in 1968. I was at the Rice Mill in Cholon, then other places during the year. I loved Saigon and Chlon after it settled down after TET. I would love to visit again.

We came back for a visit last year (during Chinese New Year) and I will post some pictures soon.
Any way, you need to return to VN soon or it will become a Chinese Province soon. Lol.....

I was in Cholon and Saigon in 1968 and it sure looks different. I was stationed at the Rice Mill in Cholon. From January thru April, we did not get around a lot, but I learned to love Cholon and Saigon.
